Welcome

Welcome to the Eastleigh & District Allotments Co-operative Association (EDACA).
Founded in 1908, EDACA is a not-for-profit trading association founded to ‘promote allotments, encourage their proper cultivation and deal in horticultural goods’ and is still supporting allotmenteers and gardeners in the Eastleigh area nearly 120 years later.
Membership is open to anyone interested in growing fruit, vegetables, salads and herbs whether they are an allotmenteer or not. Check out our Membership page for full details of the benefits and cost.
EDACA covers 14 allotment sites across Eastleigh, including those in the town itself, Allbrook, Bishopstoke and Chandlers Ford. See our Allotment sites page for details of where these are.
The association is run by a small executive group, supported by a committee who represent allotment sites across the Eastleigh area and run four EDACA trading sheds for the benefit of all members. Have a look at our Trading sheds page for full details of locations, opening hours and the type of items they stock.
